Salaam Everybody! Life is really not fair. If it was fair all the time then we would not be able to appreciate the good times. Anywho! I am back after being MIA for so long but the good thing is that this time I have found some very exclusive items to share with my lovely ladies.
Rimi’s Favorites for The Month of July
My beauty favorite of the month is the great lash very black mascara from Maybelline. Frankly, I bought this mascara because it was super affordable. I don’t like to spend a lot of money on a mascara since this cosmetic item dries up within months. This thing doubles up my scanty lashes without clumping if applied two to three coats to the max. By the way, did you know that Kate Moss too uses this mascara? Well! Now you do 😉
My Fashion favorite of the month are these silver mirror round sunglasses from EyeGlasses.pk
These are my prescription sunglasses and I am so glad I have finally found an amazing online Pakistani website that delivers high quality glasses. I urge you to please visit the website as it is real user friendly. I love the wide range of high-quality frames and lens options they offer.
These are the John Lennon round frames in dull gold with silver mirror coating over grey tint. The best part about getting custom made sunglasses is that nobody else would be able to get a similar and cheaper version of it from the Khans;) Oh yes and the sunglasses did not cost me a fortune, they were quite affordable !
Favorite YouTube Video
I think each one of us should be feminists since it means giving equal rights, opportunities, salaries and respect to women as much as to men. The 21st century Feminism is not as simple as it seems and as mentioned in the video by Though Monkey, feminists are now border lining acting as spoiled kids and I could not agree less on that. Anyways, you have got to watch the whole video to get the gist of 21st century Feminism.
My Lifestyle favorite of the month are the healthy energy bars made from peanut butter, rolled oats, honey and chocolate chips. Even though the Summers aren’t over yet, I have started getting these weird sweet and salty cravings associated with the onset of fall. The easy peasy recipe for these sweet and healthy bars is down below!
Recipe for Oats and Peanut Butter Bars
3 cups rolled oats(optional: roast them lightly), 1 and 1/2 cups peanut butter(chunky or creamy whatever you like), 1 cup honey and 1 cup chocolate chips.Mix all of the above ingredients until you get a cohesive mixture. After that, line a rimmed dish with wax paper and press the mixture onto it.
Refrigerate the mixture for atleast two to three hours so it sets. After the mixture sets, cut it into bars and store them in the fridge so they remain firm.
I did not listen to any new music in July but because Season 10 of Coke Studio has just released so I will mention some of my favorites from the ongoing series.
1). Muntazir by Danyal Zafar and Momina Mustehsan
2). Jaan-e-Bahaaraan by Ali Zafar
Hope you enjoyed my few favorites from last month. Have a great weekend! xoxo
