I am a true makeup lover but for the past year or so, I have become a minimalist in most areas of my life. I am using the word ‘most’ here because I still got a lot of stuff in my wardrobe that needs to part away. Anywho! I recently decluttered my makeup storage and now most of my makeup fits in a small bag.
In this blog post I’ll be sharing my day-to-day makeup essentials. I also believe that these makeup products can easily work for beginners as well as advanced users.
Without further ado, Let’s get started
My Day-to-Day Makeup Essentials
Maybelline fit me concealer in shade ‘medium’ 25
I use this concealer under my eyes and around my mouth area. As the shade of concealer is medium, it perfectly works to conceal the dark areas of my face.
Light Coverage Base
Silk edition compact powder by Bourjois Paris in shade ‘rose beige’ 54
Over the concealer, I use this compact powder to control shine and also to give a little coverage. The compact powder can be applied using the sponge puff that comes with it or a Kabuki brush if you want medium/high coverage.
Rimmel London Kate Sculpting Palette in ‘ 003 Golden Bronze’
If you are close to my skin tone, then buy shade ‘002 Coral Glow’. I deliberately bought one shade darker as I wanted a strong contour shade.
Rimmel London Exaggerate Eyeliner in 001 black
Eye Brow Pencil
2U Eye and Brow Pencil Liner by Rivaj Uk
This is hands down the cheapest and bestest eyebrow pencil I have used till now. I buy this pencil every two months because no other eyebrow pencil has ever got the shade and consistency right for the price point. This eyebrow pencil can be found for Rs. 90 if you are curious.
Outdoor Girl Lash Explosion Mascara
Makeup Gallery Shimmer Eyeshadow in Gold
Most Used Lip Pencils
- Pink Nude lipliner in shade ’23 Nude’ by Outdoor Girl
- Cherry Red lipliner in shade ‘125 British Red Coat’ by Rialto
- Nyx soft matte and lip cream in shade ‘ Abu Dhabi’
- Makeup Factory Magnetic Lips in shade ‘386 Sheer Carmine’
I never apply any lipcolor without first lining and filling my lips with a similar shade of lip pencil. I have quite a few lip colors but these two are my most favorite and most used as well.
- Blush Brush by Kryolan Professional in number 1712
- Eyeshadow Blending brush by Kryolan Professional in number 3507
I use blush brush for applying the blusher, contour and even compact powder. Eye shadow blending brush is a must-have in my makeup bag, I use it to define my crease even when I am just applying simple every-day eyeliner.
See you soon in my next blog! Have an amazing and productive week ahead
