I have long since stopped making makeup tutorials and giving product reviews on my blog. Firstly, because my audience can find better and more in depth tutorials on YouTube. And secondly, I do not buy new products every month, not even six months.
But you know I am a cool girl and when I do decide to buy new makeup, its for doing statement looks. So today I got inspired and decided to put together a blog on this fun and easy pink frosty makeup for spring. The star product of the whole look is Makeup Revolution London Fortune Favors the Brave Palette. Its a great all rounder neutral eyeshadow palette for brown eyes and is super affordable too. Anywho! the makeup look is simple to recreate and requires very few products.
Lets get started!

1. Prep Your Eyes
Prepping your eyes is key to make the color appear stronger and also to avoid creasing. One inexpensive way to prime your eyes is to apply pea size amount of Fair and Lovely cream onto your eye lids. I have been using it as a primer for as long as I can remember. It prevents greasy eyelids and smudged eyeliner for hours.
So to get this deep frosty pink shade to show properly, apply Fair and Lovely as a first layer and concealer as a second layer onto your eyelids. I use Maybelline fit me concealer in shade medium 25. Its a lightweight concealer and blends easily.
2. Applying Eyeshadow from the Palette
Crease: Take a round fluffy brush(not the one given in the palette, its okay but not that great) and apply caramel latte shade on to your crease. The crease is that part of your skin which unfolds when you close your eyes.
EyeLid Fun: After you have contoured your crease, apply the deep frosty pink shade on to your Eyelids using your finger. This is a pressed foil shade and it will only show up if you apply it just using your fingers. I had to take the shade 3 to 4 times and pat it onto my lids to get it to look all glittery and metallic. Trust me, you won’t be able to get the full potential of these foil shades if you only swipe it once. Use the same fluffy brush to very ‘lightly’ blend the edges of deep frosty pink shade into your crease
Note: You can buy this palette from Daraz.pk
3. Black Eyeliner
Because I am too lazy to apply fake eyelashes, I have practiced the art of wearing clean winged black eyeliner. Rimmel London Exaggerate Eye Liner in 001 Black is my holy grail eyeliner. Its brush is similar to that of a felt tip pen which makes it almost impossible to mess up your lines.
Face and Lips
Wear a light foundation or bb cream just to even out your skin. For lips I applied a clear lip gloss and patted the same deep pink frosty shade from the palette on top of the lip gloss. Voila! All donned up like an icing on the cake;)
I want to do another smokey eye tutorial using the same palette but I cannot decide between two of my favorite colors; Royal blue and Deep Plum so let me know of your choice in the comments below.
Have a great day! xoxo
